Flowhire's clamp-on meters are non-invasive. The sensors clamp onto the side of the pipe, avoiding the need to cut into the pipe and interrupt the flow. One of our most popular meters is the KATflow 200. It's handheld, portable, and lightweight, making it ideal for working at height or in small spaces. Sensor sets are available for pipelines from 10mm to 3 meters in diameter.

For hazardous areas, we offer the Flexim Ultrasonic Clamp-on flow meter. It measures liquids in Zone 2 hazardous areas without the need for hot work permits. The F608 has ATEX, IECEx, and FM approvals.
Portable Clamp-On Flow Meter Hire
Ultrasonic flowmeters are ideal for recording flow rates over long periods. The KATflow 200 has a data logging function with options for 30,000 or 100,000 measurements. Additionally, software is provided to download the logged data to a PC.
Our clamp-on Ultrasonic meters are ideal for measuring liquids in full pipes, including clean or de-ionised water, wastewater, oils, solvents, acids, hydrocarbons, and other chemicals. Pipe materials are not usually an issue. These meters work for pipes from 10mm to approximately 3 meters in diameter.
Moreover, Ultrasonic flow meters are useful in heat metering. Two pairs of transducers, along with thermocouples, can measure flow rate and temperature to directly measure heat used across a factory, room, or machine. This is ideal for facilities management or energy usage analysis.
Furthermore, clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters are perfect when system shutdown is not feasible. They are non-intrusive and clamp onto the outside of the pipe without contacting the internal fluid. Our meters are available for various pipe materials in sizes from 13mm to 5000mm.
